Founder’s Message
With a heart filled with compassion and a vision to serve society, Amma Illam was established in 1992 to extend love and care to children with intellectual disabilities who are often left uncared for by society. My dream was not only to provide them with food and shelter but also to offer education, training and dignity.
Over the years, Amma Illam has grown into a home of hope, where children are nurtured with patience and empowered with skills to lead a better life. Every child is unique and it is our duty to guide them with love, faith and encouragement.
I sincerely thank all well-wishers, donors and community members who have supported this journey. Your kindness and contribution continue to light the path of these children, turning our mission into a movement of love and service.

அன்பும் கருணையும் நிறைந்த உள்ளத்துடன், 1992 ஆம் ஆண்டு “அம்மா இல்லம்” எனும் இந்த இல்லத்தை நான் தொடங்கினேன். சமூகத்தால் புறக்கணிக்கப்படும் மனவளர்ச்சி குறைபாடுடைய குழந்தைகளுக்கு உணவும், தங்குமிடமும் மட்டுமல்லாமல், கல்வி, பயிற்சி மற்றும் மரியாதையுடன் வாழும் உரிமையும் அளிப்பதே எனது கனவு.
இன்று, அம்மா இல்லம் பலருக்கும் நம்பிக்கையின் இல்லமாக வளர்ந்து வருகிறது. ஒவ்வொரு குழந்தையும் தனித்துவம் கொண்டவர்கள்; அவர்களை அன்பு, நம்பிக்கை, ஊக்கத்துடன் வழிநடத்துவது நமது கடமை.
இந்த பயணத்தில் எங்களுடன் இணைந்துள்ள அனைத்து நலத்திட்ட நெஞ்சங்களுக்கும், தானதாரர்களுக்கும், சமூக அங்கத்தினருக்கும் என் மனமார்ந்த நன்றி. உங்கள் கருணையும் உதவியும், இந்தக் குழந்தைகளின் வாழ்வுப் பாதையை ஒளிரச் செய்து, எங்கள் நோக்கத்தை அன்பும் சேவையும் நிறைந்த இயக்கமாக மாற்றுகிறது.
